Dr. Liechty changed my life. I was miserable and my life revolved around back pain. I didn’t even realize how much pain I was really in until after surgery when it was gone. I was really nervous about having surgery, but Dr. Liechty made me feel very comfortable. I never felt rushed or unimportant in his office. He always listened and answered my questions with thorough explanations and drawings. I felt like he genuinely cared. He always said, “If you were my sister…” before any recommendations. It was very comforting. I would recommend Dr. Liechty.

As a veteran sent to see Dr. Liechty to see about having back surgery, I was greeted by Dr. Liechty and immediately felt comfortable. Dr. Liechty explained everything in detail that was going to happen. The day of surgery, Dr. Liechty took time to assure me that everything was going to be fine. This was Dec. 14, 2016. He explained that I should be able to go back to work in about three weeks. On Jan 3, 2017, I did go back to work and have felt great since, with no more pain. If you are in need of a neurosurgeon, Dr. Liechty is the one to see.

Dear. Dr. Liechty,

I am truly grateful for the time and effort that you put forth in taking care of me before surgery, during surgery, and after surgery. Your knowledge and bedside manner are amazing, but most of all your compassion is exceptional.

It is obvious that you really care for your patients and that is an attribute that I feel has been lost a little in the medical profession. I believe that the caring, compassionate doctor-patient relationship has been pushed to the back burner, while the hurried and non-caring doctor-patient relationship has taken its place. In your case, it is the previous caring relationship that I fell you still display as a doctor/surgeon.

I also believe the purpose of choosing the field of medicine as one’s profession is to heal people, care for people, and to be of service to others. In my opinion (and many others) you are on point with each of these, and I just wanted you to know how much that means to someone enduring both physical pain – and the emotional pain that comes with the physical pain.

You are an asset to the field of medicine and I would highly recommend you to anyone without reservation, as I feel you are the best neurosurgeon in this area, bar none.
